The pull of the month in July came from a box of 2011-12 Panini Limited Basketball, it is a 2012 Draft Class Redemption for the first pick of the draft. Congratulations Sky, we hope Panini sends the card soon.
All joking aside, writers have postulated that steriods (think the Giambi brothers and Miguel Tejada) certainly did have an affect on the Oakland Athletic’s success in reaching the playoffs in the early 2000′s.
Still, that pitch sailed over the plate. I’m impressed. This was a first pitch thrown by a performer in the Cirque du Solei show during Monday’s game between the Padres and Royals. If this guy doesn’t have a Topps card next year, I’ll be disappointed.
